Our aim is to organise and develop a series of workshops where the local and wider community can learn and participate in developing new creative skills, techniques and processes. As we develop we would like our skills to be accessible to corporate companies, with the objective of creating a fun environment for team building sessions and offer health and wellbeing support for stress relief via our in house coach. Did you know art is statistically proven to improve mental wellbeing through creative activities. Our intention is to deliver varied activities and workshops that have been carefully tailored to suit all abilities and cultures.
NONaffArt is a collective of professional visual artists, designers and health and wellbeing coaches based in South Wales. The collective covers a wide range of skills and abilities including fine art, ceramics, printmaking, glassmaking, textiles, life drawing, painting and sculpture. All members of the group have a wide teaching experience within their field covering all levels of teaching, including post 16 and additional learning needs.
Support
We are proud of the strong support systems we have in place to help you develop as an artist and designer. We provide highly qualified and experienced professional staff to guide you on your journey.

Exhibitions
As a collective group we have lots of exhibiting and invigilating experience. At NONaffArt we are using this experience to not only hold our own annual shows but to also help and support other artists to exhibit their works.

Health & Wellbeing
Creativity reduces anxiety, depression, and stress… And it can also help you process trauma. Studies have found that writing helps people manage their negative emotions in a productive way, and painting or drawing helps people express trauma or experiences that they find too difficult to put in to words.

Happiness
Creativity can also help make you happy. It activates what is called the ‘flow’ that helps your happiness. Repetitive creative motions like knitting, drawing, or writing are all tasks that create a result, these results flood your brain with dopamine, that feel-good chemical that actually helps motivate you.
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep”.
Scott Adams
We at NONaffArt are striving to bring art disciplines to the wider audience with creating and fostering a support network that could feed back into the local community. We are wanting to explore potential partnerships with other like-minded organisations and charity groups.
