All of our courses will be taught by not only experienced professional fine artists but also trained and qualified teachers. Each course is planned out with set objectives so you can see your improvement and skill development throughout each lesson with the knowledge of a professional teacher and artist supporting you.

DRAWING SKILLS & LINO PRINT TUESDAY – 21st Feb 2023 6-8pm £40 for 4 weeks (14yrs plus)
Join our exciting 4 Week taster workshop work with Tania & Frank to improve your drawing skills to create a magical and whimsical animal design that can be reproduced as a Lino print.
We take you through every step of the way in developing a lino Print. It is a is a brilliant way to produce a range of effects and techniques that can develop your creative skills into new directions. These sessions focus on developing your printmaking skills by exploring a wide range of processes on how to prepare a design, cutting and how to ink and print a plate to produce a range of different, exciting results.
Using a combination of beginners drawing and print techniques you will create fun and small postcard size whimsical animal artwork. Each class is a practical based session where you will learn new practical skills and it is suitable for beginners with no previous experience in drawing or printmaking.
FINE ART JUNIORS THE ART OF ANIMALS – DRAWING & PAINTING SKILLS FRIDAY – 24th Feb 4:30 -5:30pm £28 for 4 weeks (7yrs plus)
Does your child love drawing? Are they animal crazy and just love to draw animals?
During this 4-week course, your child will learn how to draw animals, observe their beautiful patterns, and recreate cute, fluffy, and feathered features. Each class is aimed to teach your child new drawing techniques and how to sketch animals step by step whilst improving their awareness of proportions and observational skills.
Tania will also teach your child painting techniques and use of other media to bring their animals to life. Keeping each lesson fresh, fun, and interesting.
FINE ART ADULTS PAINT IN THE STYLE OF A FAMOUS ARTIST – WATERCOLOUR CHALLENGE FRIDAY – 24th Feb 6:00-8:00 pm £40 for 4 weeks Adults (14yrs plus)
Contemporary watercolour artist Tania will explain, step by step, how to create a version of a painting by famous artist J.M.W Turner. You will be shown how to use techniques learnt to paint the selected composition.
J.M.W. Turner was one of the greatest artists Britain has ever produced. His watercolours, with their extraordinary effects of shifting light and dramatic cloudscapes, are especially highly regarded by both artists and art lovers.
Your tutor will offer an introduction that will explore Turner’s life and career and some of the materials he used to achieve the effects in the masterpieces we know and love today.
During this 4 Week course you will explore basic themes (such as sky, water, trees, etc.) using Turner’s works to illustrate and explore each theme. You will learn techniques that watercolour artists and enthusiasts will love.
SUSTAINABLE TEXTILES DECORATIVE TEXTILE TECHNIQUES SATURDAY 25th Feb 11:00-1:00pm £40 for 4 weeks Adults (14yrs plus) with Menna @naturesthreadss
Come along and join residence artist Menna from Naturesthreadss to create and explore a variety of Sustainable Textiles. Exploring techniques such as Macrame, Felting, Rust Dyeing, Crochet, Weaving etc.
Each week you will use a variety of different techniques to make something unique. Most if not all Materials used within the workshops will be Sustainably sourced. You will often be using waste created from one workshop and embedding it into another technique during the next workshop. Experimenting with using waste to create a new texture and a new piece of art.
These workshops will be 2 hours each, and run on a Saturday for 4 continuous weeks. They are suitable for adults and older children, no experience is needed for these workshops.
CREATE, MAKE & TAKE SUSTAINABLE TEXTILES Accessories & Jewellery. FRIDAY 24th Feb 10:30- 1:30pm £10 for One Session

SATURDAY SCULPT THE ART OF PLASTER CARVING FOR BEGINNERS SATURDAY 25th Feb 1:30pm – 3:30pm £40 for 4 weeks Adults (14yrs plus) with Rebecca Hammett
First time sculptor or artist looking to branch into 3D? Plaster carving is a great way to get you thinking in three dimensions by creating an elaborate figure or a completely abstract form.
Taught by professional artist Rebecca who will take you through every step of the way in the creation of your own sculptural piece. You will learn how to design, make, and finish your own carved sculptural piece to take home.
